Meet Jessica!
Jessica has been studying piano for 40 years and has been teaching piano lessons for 30 years. As a member of the National Music Teacher's Association, and through personal music study, she continues to learn and grow in order to bring the best to her students. She is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music and a certified Let's Play Music and Sound Beginnings instructor. Her passion is bringing the joy of music to her students and their families. She loves working one on one with each individual student, finding their spark and building on that together as each budding musician grows in musical ability. Her end goal is not to create career musicians out of everyone who comes through her studio (although that is a great goal!), but to give all the gift of music to enjoy in their lives. As each person is different, each individual’s goals are different as well. Together we can discover joy in music.
Jessica teaches about 70 students between private lessons and group Let's Play Music and Sound Beginnings classes. Studio recitals are held three times a year. Lesson time is spent discovering different aspects of music and the piano: technique, theory, history, styles, accompanying, performing, composing and more while having fun!
