Remember to have your student include practicing their composition in their daily practice! They need to be ready to perform at the beginning of May!
Pro tip: Practice performing the composition (play for a captive audience to bring out the nervous excitement and that "I only have one time to get it right" feeling) and don't forget to practice introducing the song before playing!
