I believe in teaching to the person, so I use varied techniques and methods in my studio. I emphasize parent-child-teacher communication, because I believe this enables students who stay. I teach your student how to play piano and I teach you how to support your student.
Private Piano Lessons
An innovative theory and foundational group music program for ages 4-6. Children learn real music skills and theory in group classes through play, giving them the best start to their music study.
Let's Play Music
A family music class that prepares students for success in Let’s Play Music and Kindergarten. Classes include singing, movement, instrument play, nursery rhymes, games, stories, and ear training activities.
Sound Beginnings
We are a rhythm group of children ages 7-12 that meet Tuesdays durning the summer. We learn rhythm and movement using a variety of props and instruments (basketballs, sticks, buckets, cups, Boomwhackers, body percussion, bells and more). This is an 8 week summer course with no homework (just come each week for some structured fun!), followed by a performance at the end of the summer. Perfect for improving rhythm no matter your child's instrument. Also appropriate for the absolute beginner!
